Job Requirements:
Performs logistical support functions for the GDCME/MNG Logistics/Supply Chain Management (LSCM) organization. Ensures equipment operational readiness (OR) rates are met by means of ordering, accounting, stocking, issue, transfer, and receipt of spares and consumable parts and equipment assigned by the customer. Maintains and warehouses inventory and performs automated parts operations as well as packages goods for transport. The position will be located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Order, receive, inspect, stow, preserve, package, ship, and issue materials/cargo.
- Unload incoming inventory from trucks; stock inventory onto shelf locations; pick inventory; prepare repair shipments to OEM; assemble kits; manage window for issues/returns.
- Perform inventory cycle counts; research missing parts and report discrepancies. Monitor and track Class III (p) shelf life to ensure critical consumables are on hand prior to expiration.
- Operate within broad guidelines of duties with significant choice of methods. Authority to select and implement goals and objectives within duties.
- Supervise, train, and direct assigned individuals.
- Prepare and maintain forms, records, correspondence, reports, and files; ensure proper documentation; meet on-time metrics.
- Load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility using handling equipment.
- Monitor aircraft time-change components schedule to ensure timely replacement components.
- Oversee the repairable exchange program and ensure documentation is complete.
- Conduct parts supply operations safely and efficiently.
- Analyze inventory levels, demand, and production speed to determine reorder levels.
- Inspect goods upon delivery; verify order specifications; perform quality control; handle delivery issues; quarantine defective parts.
- Select packaging materials based on durability and cost; include considerations for HAZMAT and oversized/overweight items.
- Train customer personnel in supply/parts management.
- Schedule and organize training events; perform clerical and administrative duties related to training and organizational development.
