Job Role: Torchman – Waterproofing Systems (Full-Time)

Position Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Torchman for full-time work in waterproofing system installations. The role involves applying torch-on (bituminous) membrane waterproofing materials to roofs, terraces, basements, and other surfaces using gas torches. The ideal candidate should have experience with waterproofing applications and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply torch-on waterproofing membranes using propane/gas torch equipment.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and priming prior to membrane installation.
• Overlap and seal membrane sheets to ensure complete water resistance.
• Identify and repair damaged membrane sections.
• Follow project specifications, safety protocols, and fire prevention measures.
• Coordinate with waterproofing technicians and site supervisors.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in torch-on membrane waterproofing systems.
• Understanding of safe handling of torches and gas cylinders.
• Familiarity with insulation and vapor barrier layers (preferred).
• Physically fit and able to work in hot or outdoor conditions.
