We are looking for a 'TOTAL REWARDS LEAD' to design, implement, and manage the comprehensive Total Rewards strategy for India, ensuring it is competitive, cost-effective, legally compliant, and aligned with the company's business objectives and talent philosophy. This role will be the subject matter expert for compensation, benefits, and rewards analytics reporting to the Head of HR, India.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Design and administer the company's salary structure, bonus programs for India.
- Conduct and analyze market benchmarking surveys (using Mercer, Korn Ferry, Aon, etc.) to ensure competitive positioning.
- Manage the annual compensation review cycle (merit increases, promotions, bonuses) end-to-end, including budgeting, communication, and system updates.
- Develop and enforce compensation policies and guidelines.
- Conduct job evaluations and ensure internal equity.
- Design, manage, and optimize the employee benefits portfolio (Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical Insurance, Group Term Life, Personal Accident, etc.).
- Explore and implement innovative wellness programs (physical, mental, financial) to enhance employee wellbeing.
- Regularly benchmark benefits against industry best practices and manage vendor relationships (insurers, wellness partners).
- Ensure seamless administration and clear communication of benefits to employees.
- Develop robust dashboards and metrics to analyze the effectiveness of total rewards programs (cost, ROI, employee sentiment).
- Design and manage spot recognition, milestone awards, and other non-monetary recognition programs
- Act as a consultant to HR Business Partners and business leaders on complex compensation decisions (offers, promotions, retention).
- Develop clear and compelling communication strategies to improve employee understanding and appreciation of the total rewards value proposition.
- Respond to and manage rewards-related queries from employees
Education and Key skills
- Full-time MBA/PGDM in HR from a premier institute, or a relevant Master's degree.
- Experience: 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 4-5 years specialized in Compensation & Benefits/Total Rewards
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards) and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS (e.g., Workday, UKG,SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and compensation survey tools.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Certifications (Preferred): Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar global certification.
