Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and culturally aware Female Tour Guide to lead excursions to Pakistan’s most breathtaking northern destinations. You will be the face of our tours, responsible for providing an immersive experience for our clients (specifically female groups, families, and solo travelers).
The ideal candidate has a deep passion for the history, culture, and geography of the Northern Areas and is comfortable with a high-travel lifestyle, including leading trips twice a week.
Key Destinations
You must be intimately familiar with and ready to travel to:
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Naran, Kaghan, Swat Valley.
- Gilgit-Baltistan: Hunza (Karimabad, Attabad), Skardu (Deosai, Shangrila), Gilgit.
- Azad Kashmir: Neelum Valley, Arang Kel.
- Punjab Highlands: Murree and Galiyat.
Key Responsibilities
- Guided Storytelling: Provide detailed historical and cultural insights into points of interest (e.g., Baltit Fort, Altit Fort, Lake Saiful Muluk, and Buddhist sites in Swat).
- Trip Execution: Lead group tours twice a week, ensuring all logistics (transport, check-ins, and sightseeing schedules) run smoothly.
- Guest Safety: Prioritize the safety and comfort of travelers, particularly in high-altitude or rugged terrains.
- Client Engagement: Act as a bridge between local communities and travelers, facilitating authentic cultural exchanges.
- Emergency Management: Handle on-ground challenges such as weather delays or health issues with professional composure.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Gender: Female (Required for female-only and family-centric tour packages).
- Education: Degree in Tourism, History, Archeology, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the history, local dialects, and "hidden gems" of Northern Pakistan.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to travel twice a week for multi-day trips.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of walking/hiking in mountainous regions and managing long road journeys.
- Communication: Fluent in Urdu and English (knowledge of Shina, Burushaski, or Balti is a major plus).
- Personality: Presentable, extroverted, and highly organized.
