Tow Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as winches, straps, and forklifts when necessary.
• Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery method.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
• Perform routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle details for record-keeping purposes.

Requirements

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK FOR LOCAL AND STATE POLICE

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally when needed.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform vehicle recovery tasks in various weather conditions.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
