Looking for a good wheel lift and flat bed driver for a new company

Experience is a plus however we are willing to train the right individuals

Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record. Will have to check MVA report to confirm driving record.

Must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively.

Knowledge about vehicles is a plus.

Duties

• Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles from accident scenes, breakdowns, or parking violations
• Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as winches, hooks, and straps
• Perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs when necessary to ensure vehicle safety during transport
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and emergency responders to coordinate vehicle recovery operations
• Maintain accurate logs of all tow assignments, including details of vehicle condition and location
• Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment and perform minor mechanical maintenance or report repairs needed
• Manage conflict situations professionally by providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience with towing operations, especially using flatbed or tow trucks; mechanic experience is highly valued
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmissions preferred
• Familiarity with automotive repair tools and equipment such as forklifts or other lifting devices
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to vehicle towing and roadside assistance
• Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards
