We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tow Truck Flatbed Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating flatbed tow trucks to transport vehicles efficiently and securely. Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed tow trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport vehicles across various locations.
• Use mechanical knowledge and automotive diagnostics skills to assess vehicle conditions and determine the best towing approach.
• Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring proper securing techniques to prevent damage during transit.
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including vehicle details, and any incidents or damages.
• Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment such as winches, hydraulic systems, and flatbeds to ensure optimal operation.
• Handle conflict management professionally when dealing with distressed or difficult customers or situations.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS license with Towing Endorsement with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed models.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs if needed.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and manual transmission operation.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment like forklifts or winches.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude under pressure.
