Tow Truck Flatbed Driver/Must live in Henderson

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Flatbed Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles using a flatbed tow truck, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring all operations comply with safety standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge, driving expertise, and the ability to handle various roadside situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed tow trucks to transport vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes.
• Load and unload vehicles onto the flatbed using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches.
• Perform basic automotive diagnostics and repairs when necessary to assist with vehicle issues.
• Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, including mileage, vehicle condition, and delivery details.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients professionally during stressful situations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively when dealing with distressed customers or roadside emergencies.
• Must be able to be on call on a rotation/Nights and Weekends

Qualifications

Need to live in Henderson, Ky due to being on call nights and weekends (on a rotation) and be able to respond to traffic accidents in a timely manner

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating flatbed tow trucks and familiarity with tow truck equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge, including automotive diagnostics, repair, and manual transmission operation.
• Prior experience in automotive repair or mechanic work is preferred.
• Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate tools such as forklifts or winches.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, including automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
