Tower Crane Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tower Crane Mechanic to perform maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on tower cranes and related lifting equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in heavy equipment mechanics, a keen understanding of safety procedures, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on tower cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on tower cranes.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair calls at site locations.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections in accordance with manufacturer and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records for all equipment.
• Identify worn or defective parts and arrange replacements as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with crane operators, site supervisors, and other maintenance staff to minimize downtime.
• Assist in erecting, climbing, and dismantling tower cranes when required.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and in good working condition.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a crane or heavy equipment mechanic, preferably with tower cranes.
• Technical diploma or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to cranes and heavy equipment.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
• Willing to work on-site, including weekends or overtime when required.
