Tower crane operator

The Tower Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating tower cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites, especially high-rise projects. The role includes following lifting plans, ensuring safe load handling, coordinating with riggers and site supervisors, and performing daily equipment checks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operate tower crane as per site requirements and safety standards
• Follow lifting signals and instructions from certified signalmen/riggers
• Inspect crane before and after operation
• Ensure safe lifting, movement, and placement of materials
• Report any faults or safety concerns immediately
• Comply with all HSE regulations and site procedures

Requirements:

• Valid tower crane operator license/certification
• Experience in high-rise construction projects preferred
• Strong awareness of safety procedures and communication skills
