Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Towing Dispatcher to join our transportation operations team. In this vital role, you will coordinate towing and roadside assistance services efficiently, ensuring quick response times and excellent customer service. Responsibilities

• Receive incoming calls via multi-line phone systems, providing professional phone etiquette and clear communication to customers and team members.
• Utilize GPS, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine to determine the most efficient dispatch routes.
• Coordinate towing services by assigning appropriate tow trucks or roadside assistance units based on location, vehicle type, and urgency.
• Maintain accurate data entry in transportation management software, including shipping & receiving logs, freight details, and dispatch records.
• Communicate effectively with drivers using transportation planning tools and provide real-time updates on job assignments.
• Conduct analysis of dispatch operations to identify areas for process improvement in logistics and supply chain workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatching within transportation or logistics environments, with familiarity using GPS, GIS, and transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data from freight tracking systems and optimize routing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette; capable of managing multi-line phone systems confidently.
• Proficiency in data entry tasks related to shipping & receiving logs, freight documentation, and fleet records.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly while coordinating multiple tasks efficiently.
• Basic typing skills for quick data entry; familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus. Join us as a Towing Dispatcher where your proactive approach and logistical expertise will keep our transportation network running smoothly!
