Toy Content Video Producer

About the Role

We are a fun and fast-growing U.S.-based digital entertainment team creating upbeat, family-friendly content for YouTube.

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Toy Content Video Producer to help film and edit playful, toy-based video content. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, pretend play, character-driven scenes, voice acting, and fast-paced digital content.

In this role, you will film scenes featuring toys, props, challenges, adventures, and imaginative storylines. You will also help bring toy characters to life through movement, timing, reactions, and expressive voice acting.

Most videos will focus on the toys, props, and scenes being filmed, so regular on-camera appearance is not required. However, applicants should be comfortable and open to occasional on-camera participation if needed for a specific video concept.

The content style is fun, energetic, colorful, silly, expressive, and designed for a family-friendly online audience.

Responsibilities

• Film toy-based YouTube videos based on creative concepts, scripts, and production plans
• Capture playful scenes featuring toys, props, pretend play, challenges, adventures, and character interactions
• Perform toy movements and help create engaging toy-based storytelling moments
• Provide fun, expressive voice acting for toy characters
• Operate DSLR or comparable video camera equipment during shoots
• Set up camera angles, framing, lighting, audio, and simple filming environments
• Capture primary footage, close-ups, toy interactions, reaction-style moments, and supporting shots
• Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Add music, sound effects, transitions, text, and other creative elements
• Organize, transfer, label, and back up footage and project files
• Incorporate feedback and complete revisions within agreed deadlines
• Assist with toys, props, set preparation, equipment setup, and shoot logistics
• Contribute creative ideas that improve storytelling, pacing, humor, and viewer engagement

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience filming, producing, editing, or creating video content
• Experience using a DSLR camera or comparable video equipment
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Basic understanding of videography, lighting, audio, framing, and shot composition
• Comfortable filming toy-based scenes, props, pretend play, and playful storylines
• Comfortable doing voice acting or expressive character voices for toys
• Strong sense of timing, energy, humor, and visual storytelling
• Understanding of fast-paced YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or social media content
• Ability to follow creative direction and collaborate with a production team
• Reliable transportation and availability for on-location filming
• Open to occasional on-camera participation if needed, though this is not primarily an on-camera role

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or other digital-first video content
• Experience filming comedy, challenges, pretend play, toy-related, or family-friendly content
• Familiarity with YouTube pacing, audience retention, and fast-paced editing techniques
• Experience with voice acting, character voices, improv, theater, or performance-based content
• Knowledge of lighting, audio recording, color correction, sound design, or basic motion graphics
• Access to camera, lighting, audio, or other production equipment is a plus

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must provide links to video samples they personally worked on.

• Short films, web series, school projects, or personal creative videos
• Reels showing filming, editing, storytelling, voice acting, or performance ability
