Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the TPM program in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Establish TPM policies, procedures, Master Plan, and standards to drive consistency and best practices across all departments.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of TPM initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and NPD, to integrate TPM principles into daily operations.
  • Facilitate communication and cooperation among team members to promote a culture of proactive equipment maintenance and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on TPM concepts, methodologies, and tools.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure understanding and adherence to TPM practices.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and maintenance costs.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate TPM progress, achievements, and areas for further focus.
  • Work with maintenance teams to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment reliability data and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Support the implementation of autonomous maintenance practices, empowering operators to take ownership of equipment care and minor maintenance tasks.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams focused on implementing lean principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity, encouraging team members to identify and implement ideas for optimizing equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Work closely with external TPM consultants to leverage their expertise and insights in implementing TPM best practices.
  • Facilitate the implementation of recommendations provided by TPM consultants, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external consultants, providing necessary support and resources to drive successful TPM initiatives.
  • Coordinate training sessions or workshops conducted by TPM consultants to transfer knowledge and build internal capabilities in TPM implementation and sustainment.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • 08–10 years of experience with Diploma OR 06–08 years with BE in TPM implementation.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or operations management, with a focus on TPM or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of TPM principles, tools, and techniques, including autonomous maintenance, planned maintenance, and focused improvement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
