Position Overview:
The Track and Courts Consultant role is designed as a growth platform for long-term success in business development within the running track and court construction and maintenance markets. From day one, you’ll gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and guided training across every stage of the sales process from prospecting to project delivery.
As part of our expanding new court and track division within Motz365, you will play a key role in building trusted relationships with clients, designers, vendors, and other industry influencers. By representing Motz’s commitment to people, performance, and long-term partnership, you’ll help advance our mission of delivering championship-quality sports surfaces and remarkable customer experiences.
Key Activities:
  • Support the execution of business development initiatives across the running track and tennis court segments, including both new construction and maintenance/repair opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a dynamic pipeline of prospects and key influencers that align with strategic growth goals.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and follow-up communications to ensure a professional, customer-centered sales experience.
  • Conduct research to identify and qualify prospective clients, markets, and project opportunities.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, tradeshows, conferences, and association events to build industry presence and brand awareness.
  • Manage accurate data entry and opportunity tracking in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to strengthen client relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal estimating, operations, and design teams to ensure seamless project transitions and high-quality outcomes.
  • Support the renewal of annual maintenance agreements and recurring service partnerships.
  • Generate regular sales and market reports to inform business development strategies and decision-making.
  • Availability for regional travel up to 50% of the time to visit job sites, clients, and key partners.

  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal, able to connect effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service that builds trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills; capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical thinker who can identify opportunities and propose creative, customer-focused solutions.
  • Confident using CRM tools and digital communication platforms to manage leads and interactions.
Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Planning, or similar).
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, project management, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Interest or experience in sports construction, surfacing, or related industries preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally (up to 50%).
