Tractor Operator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor Operator to join our grounds maintenance team. The ideal candidate will operate tractors and related equipment to maintain lawns, landscapes, and outdoor spaces. If you enjoy working outdoors and have experience operating heavy machinery, we want to hear from you!

Candidate must be able to pass a federal background investigation and drug test.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate tractors, mowers, and other equipment to perform grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, seeding, and grading.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of tractors and equipment to ensure they are in safe and working condition.
• Use attachments like plows, harrows, or sprayers for specific grounds maintenance tasks.
• Clear debris, maintain trails, and assist in landscaping and irrigation tasks.
• Work efficiently to complete tasks while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or areas in need of repair.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and equipment.
• Work cohesively with a team
• Receive and execute directions from senior team members and managers

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating tractors and grounds maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to pull self-up to seats and positions of operations
• A valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not required.
• Experience with landscaping, grounds maintenance, or similar roles (preferred).
