PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of tractors and diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical issues.
• Perform repairs on transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, shocks & struts, and HVAC systems to restore optimal functionality.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and fabrication techniques to assemble, repair, or modify equipment parts.
• Diagnose complex tractor and industrial equipment problems using automotive diagnostics and electrical experience to ensure precise repairs.
• Maintain and service various machinery including, tractor-trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles with attention to safety standards.
• Conduct tire services, alignments, brake repairs, and suspension work to enhance vehicle safety and performance.
• Support customer service efforts by explaining repairs clearly and providing professional advice on maintenance best practices.

Experience

• Proven tractor experience or extensive mechanic experience .
• Strong fabrication skills with experience in welding, assembly, and custom modifications..
• Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems and hydraulic diagrams for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
• Knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, air brakes systems, HVAC systems in vehicles or equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle maintenance including tire service and suspension work with precision.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical expertise to diagnose and resolve diverse mechanical problems efficiently.
