We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Trade Marketing Specialist to lead the planning and execution of trade-focused marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be the key link between marketing, sales, and the retailers, responsible for optimizing brand visibility, enhancing in-store execution, and driving sell-through at the point of purchase.


You will develop and implement customer-specific marketing programs, manage trade budgets, analyse sales trends, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of marketing campaigns with commercial objectives.

Trade Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement trade marketing plans aligned with brands and sales strategies.
  • Translate brand marketing plans into retailer-specific executions.
  • Identify key opportunities across retailers to drive brand presence and sales.
  • Focus on understand consumer behaviours to drive actionable initiative at retail.

Promotional Execution

  • Plan and coordinate in-store activations, visual merchandising (displays, POS materials, windows) and promotional events.
  • Ensure consistency of brand messages across trade activities.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to execute promotional plans effectively.
  • Track successful implementation of activations & results

Sales & Performance Analysis

  • Monitor and analyse sales data, market share, category performance, and ROI of trade initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and shopper insights to refine strategies.
  • Report trade performance metrics to internal stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and external agency partners.
  • Coordinate with brand teams to align trade plans with product launches and brand calendars.
  • Support key account teams with tailored marketing materials and toolkits.

Budget & Project Management

  • Manage and optimize trade marketing budgets.
  • Ensure timely execution of trade programs and projects within scope and budget.

Track promotional spend and evaluate effectiveness.
