Trade Marketing Specialist

Job Description

Job Summary

The Trade Marketing Specialist will work as an integral part of the marketing team supporting Crystal’s trade marketing needs and day-to-day support for the sales team. This role involves managing content on Crystal’s trade portal and creating collateral, toolkits and presentation materials to support trade sales globally. Responsibilities also include managing Crystal’s trade email, webinar and SMS calendar and execution, collaborating closely with the digital and creative teams to create engaging content aligned with Crystal’s business objectives.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Manage trade portal content updates, rollout of new developments, and tracking to ensure all assets are current and accessible to partners, optimizing engagement.
  • Develop and create trade marketing collateral, including promotion campaign toolkits and tactical materials to support sales objectives.
  • Coordinate the trade e-mail, SMS and webinar calendar, ensuring communications are timely, highlighting relevant commercial priorities and content, and effectively driving partner engagement.
  • Create compelling presentation materials and webinars for delivery by the trade sales team.
  • Support sales events and trade shows; assist in coordinating logistics and materials.
  • Write high quality briefs to in-house creative team and collaborate on development of materials to meet business objectives and align with Crystal’s brand.
  • Assess the performance of trade activities and the competitive landscape and recommend adjustments and new ideas as needed.
  • Update and maintain internal marketing project and activity plans, ensuring clear communication.
  • Collaborate within the marketing team and with key functions including trade sales, reservations and operations across Crystal and AKTG in London and Downers Grove, IL.
  • Support additional marketing initiatives and cross-functional projects as needed.

Competency

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred

Experience: 3+ years of experience in marketing; cruise/travel experience highly preferred

Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience creating marketing and digital tools to support B2B/trade sales, preferably for travel advisors.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel programs.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of brand standards and execution against guidelines.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Resourceful self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Work Environment

Works in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels. Traveling may be required.

Physical Demands

This role requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching. May involve lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds. Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.

Expected Hours of Work

The position is full-time and on occasion requires working additional time outside of normal business hours.
