PATENT AGENT - BIOTECHNOLOGY

Minimum of 3 Years of Experience

We are seeking an experienced Biotechnology Patent Agent with a strong academic background and a passion for intellectual property in the biotech field. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or a related discipline.

This position requires the ability to critically analyze complex scientific technologies, quickly grasp new innovations, and communicate effectively through patent drafting. Candidates with prior experience in patent drafting and prosecution are preferred. Responsibilities include drafting patent applications and managing patent prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and international patent offices.

Candidates must already be registered to practice before the USPTO.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or a related field.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Patent drafting and prosecution experience preferred.
• Registration to practice before the USPTO.

Salary Range:

• Minimum Salary of $125,000
