Tradesman Plumber

As a Tradesman Plumber at DFW Home Services, you'll perform residential plumbing remodels, repairs, and maintenance under the supervision of our Master Plumber. You'll work independently on routine tasks while developing the advanced technical and problem-solving skills needed to progress to a journeyman role. This position is ideal for someone with solid field experience who is committed to building expertise and taking on greater responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform residential plumbing installations, repairs, and diagnostics with some supervision
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend solutions
• Support apprentices on job sites and model professional work standards
• Ensure work meets local, state, and national plumbing codes
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and remodeling partners about work performed
• Track time and materials accurately for each project
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, and uphold job site safety standards
• Collaborate with the Master Plumber and office team to meet job deadlines

Qualifications:

• Current plumbing license or trade certification (apprentice license minimum; journeyman preferred)
• Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on residential plumbing experience
• Solid understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and best practices
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills with homeowners and remodelers
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using technology for scheduling, customer communication, and project management.
• US citizen with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
