Job Overview

Kundan Trading is seeking a results-driven and strategic Trading Director to lead and oversee our trading operations. This role is responsible for developing trading strategies, managing supplier and client relationships, and driving profitability across local and international markets. The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, leadership skills, and a proven track record in trading or distribution businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute trading strategies to maximize revenue and market share
• Identify new business opportunities, markets, and product lines
• Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, and key clients
• Oversee procurement, pricing, and contract negotiations
• Monitor market trends, demand patterns, and competitor activity
• Ensure efficient supply chain and inventory management
• Lead and manage the trading team to achieve performance targets
• Control budgets, costs, and profitability of trading operations
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations
• Prepare reports and present performance insights to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Trade, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in trading, distribution, or commercial operations
• Strong negotiation and business development skills
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent understanding of supply chain and market dynamics
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment
• Experience in regional (GCC) markets is a plus
