About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Foreign Trade Specialist/Lead to strengthen our global trade operations and contribute to our company’s strategic growth goals. In this role, you will manage the import and export processes of petroleum and intermediate products, coordinate commercial agreements, and ensure the smooth execution of all operational procedures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop processes aligned with the company’s commercial strategies to enhance trade operations
  • Conduct market research, monitor market trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Forecast petroleum product prices to guide and impact production planning
  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements in compliance with refinery and country requirements, and coordinate directly with customers and trading offices
  • Oversee the full operation process of import/export cargoes, ensuring SAP registration, customs documentation, and timely system entry
  • Manage invoice transactions and coordinate payment plans with relevant departments
  • Ensure proper control and execution of LC/SBLC processes
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance departments to structure recap clauses and finalize contracts
  • Complete vessel and shipment approval processes following commercial agreements
  • Work closely with Tüpraş Trading Ltd., Customs, Finance, Sales, and Planning departments to manage international trade efficiently
  • Monitor vessel movements and ensure smooth import/export operations of refinery and intermediate products
  • Conduct economic and market analyses, evaluate product qualities and trade opportunities
  • Prepare reports on global petroleum product trade, research new products, and explore innovative import–export routes


What We Look For?


  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in foreign trade operations, contract management, and import/export processes
  • Solid understanding of MS Office applications
  • Fluent, professional English proficiency
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and agile work culture
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player
  • Thrives on diverse perspectives and demonstrates flexibility
  • Possesses an analytical and innovative mindset with a strong sense of initiative
