Traffic Control/Shuttle Driver

Dunes Village Resort is looking for a friendly, dependable Traffic Control / Shuttle Driver to help create a smooth and welcoming arrival experience for our guests. In this role, you’ll often be the first smiling face our guests see, helping direct traffic, assisting with transportation, and ensuring every guest’s vacation starts the moment they arrive.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Greet all guest as they enter and exit the hotel while ensuring service standards are followed
• Engage in conversation with first time visitors, showing them the lobby and offering directions as required
• Control traffic flow outside resort and in 15 minute parking area to prevent back ups
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous guest service experience preferred
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Must possess outstanding guest services skills and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required to meet company insurance requirements
• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
