Trailer Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and responsible Heavy Driver to join our team. The Heavy Driver will be responsible for operating various types of heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment, to transport goods, materials, or personnel safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and excellent vehicle operation and maintenance skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe driving, punctuality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, or other specialized heavy equipment as required.
• Transport goods, materials, or equipment to designated locations, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects or issues immediately.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Load and unload cargo safely, utilizing appropriate equipment and securing methods (e.g., straps, chains, tarps) to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, trip sheets, fuel records, and other required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and any operational concerns.
• Ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights.
• Assist with minor roadside repairs or troubleshooting as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Represent the company professionally at all times while on the road and at client sites.

Heavy Vehicle Drivers (5 Nos.)

• Suitable for trailers and box trailers.
• Salary range: AED 3,000 to AED 3,500 + FAT.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.
