Trailer Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on a variety of equipment serviced by Benlee. Some Mig welding experience is required.

• Hydraulic repair
• Brake systems
• Heavy duty trailer repair
• MIG welding experience
• Basic power tools experience
• Trailer maintenance, grease points
• Must be able to diagnose trailers for potential problems

To be qualified, all applicants must have high school diploma and/or trade school completion with experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have prerequisite knowledge of heavy equipment systems, an understanding of safe job practices for repairing equipment, and exhibit teamwork, verbal, and written skills. Physical requirements include the ability to lift a maximum of 75 pounds, ability to stoop, bend, climb and crawl without restrictions and must be able to pass a DOT physical exam.

Some of the equipment that Benlee services are Roll Off Trucks & trailers, various semi-trailers (open top, roll off), various Roll Off trucks and lugger trucks.

Pay is negotiable and based on experience.

$1,000 signing bonus after 6 months of employment.
