Trainee Accountant

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Accountant with bachelor degree qualification to join our Accounts Department. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh candidates who want to build a career in accounting. The primary responsibility will be accurate accounting data entry and supporting day-to-day accounting operations under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Data Entry:

• Enter accounting transactions into accounting software and MS Excel
• Record vouchers, invoices, bills, receipts, and payments accurately
• Maintain proper records of sales, purchases, expenses, and petty cash
• Assist in maintaining ledgers and basic accounting registers

Documentation & Record Keeping:

• File and maintain accounting documents systematically
• Assist in reconciling invoices, bills, and supporting documents
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness in records

Support to Accounts Department:

• Assist senior accountants in daily accounting tasks
• Support month-end and routine accounting activities
• Perform any other accounting-related tasks assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor qualification // BA in finance or stats etc
• Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts (debit/credit, vouchers, entries)
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
• Willingness to learn accounting software
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail
• Honest, disciplined, and responsible attitude

Experience:

• Fresh or up to 1 year experience (training will be provided)
