Trainee Engineer

About the Role

A leading FMCG company is looking for a Trainee Engineer (Mechanical) to join its plant operations in Tando Adam. This role is ideal for an early-career mechanical engineer who wants to build hands-on experience in plant operations, milling machinery, preventive maintenance, and production processes within a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the performance of milling and plant machinery to ensure smooth production.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Assist in diagnosing machinery breakdowns and implementing corrective actions.
• Support preventive and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Maintain machine logbooks, Daily Plant Reports, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and food quality standards, including the proper use of PPE.
• Learn and support compliance with ISO, HACCP, FSSC, Halal, and other quality systems.
• Work closely with the Production team to develop technical knowledge of milling operations and plant equipment.

Requirements

• B.E. Mechanical or DAE Mechanical (Mechanical Engineering).
• Around 2 years of experience, preferably in a flour mill, food manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, production equipment, and plant operations.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and workplace safety practices.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
