Job Title: Trainee Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Summary:

The Trainee Engineer (Mechanical) will support the engineering team in mechanical operations, maintenance, and project activities. This role is designed for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and understand practical engineering applications under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in daily mechanical engineering tasks and site activities.
• Support installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and systems.
• Prepare and maintain basic technical reports, checklists, and documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical faults and proposing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and company policies.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth execution of engineering activities.
• Learn and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization tasks.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor related to mechanical operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Fresh graduate or up to 1 year experience).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in field and office environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus).
