Trainee Executive in the civil industry identifies new construction project opportunities, researches market trends, builds client relationships with developers/government, prepares proposals for tenders, and coordinates with project teams to secure contracts, focusing on driving growth, revenue, and strategic partnerships in infrastructure, real estate, or construction services.
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Lead Generation: Conduct market research, identify potential clients (developers, government bodies, corporations), and prospect for new construction projects, tenders, and infrastructure opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs for construction, engineering, or related services.
- Strategy & Proposals: Develop business strategies, create compelling proposals, bids, and presentations for tenders, ensuring alignment with company capabilities.
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the sales funnel from lead to contract, negotiating terms, pricing, and ensuring profitable outcomes.
- Industry Engagement: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company's services.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with project management, engineering, and pre-construction teams to develop project scope, organization charts, and cost estimates for bids.
- Reporting: Track sales metrics, analyze competitor activities, and report on business development performance to management.
