Trainee Fashion Designer

Job Summary

As a Fashion Designer in our organization you should be responsible to support various fashion design activities, customer handling, and production tasks. The role includes direct customer engagement, assistance with social media shoots, uniform design support, pattern cutting, and collaboration with the stitching team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customers for order taking and provide support throughout the stitching process.
• Coordinate with the ironing and finishing team for timely delivery.
• Assist in selecting dresses and designs for reels and video shoots.
• Support the uniform design and its stitching process as required.
• Help in cutting patterns and preparing garments for stitching.
• Assign stitching team members to attach buttons and make buttonholes as per design.
• Create designs for various types of dresses as per customer or brand requirement.
• Prepare basic fashion sketches and technical drawings.
• Take body measurements accurately from clients.
• Assist the senior fashion designer team in daily operations and design-related activities.
• Reception handling.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Fashion Designing.
• Strong knowledge of garment types, design trends, and stitching processes.
• Good Knowledge about Kurtis / Uniform (Advantage)
• Fashion Forecasting
• Good Communication Skills
• Video Presentation & Modelling Skills
• Smart & Presentable Personality
• Ability to interact with clients and take accurate measurements.
• Creative thinking with a good eye for color and detail.
• Willingness to assist in shoots and special styling tasks.
• Basic skills in pattern cutting and sketching.
• Team player with a proactive and flexible work attitude.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From ₹3,000.00 per month
