trainee lab technician (kallambalam)

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Lab Trainee to join our family clinic laboratory. This role is ideal for candidates who have completed their laboratory course and are seeking hands-on training and practical experience in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in routine laboratory investigations as per standard procedures
• Collect and label patient samples (blood, urine, etc.) under supervision
• Prepare samples for analysis and testing
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the laboratory
• Operate basic laboratory equipment under guidance
• Record test details and maintain laboratory registers / EMR entries
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Assist in inventory management of lab consumables
• Support senior lab technicians and doctors as required

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Completed DMLT / MLT or equivalent laboratory course
• Freshers are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety standards
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work as part of a team
