About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Trainee – Supply Chain Management, who will support various functions within the supply chain—including procurement, inventory control, logistics coordination, vendor communication, and data management. This role is ideal for fresh graduates looking to build a strong foundation in the supply chain domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in procurement activities such as generating purchase orders, vendor follow‑ups, and tracking material deliveries.
• Support inventory management by updating stock records, monitoring shortages, and helping with cycle counts.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for shipment planning, dispatch scheduling, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, dispatches, and receipts in ERP/software systems.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports related to inventory, logistics status, GRN, and supply chain performance.
• Follow up with internal teams (production, stores, accounts, QA) to ensure smooth workflow.
• Assist in analyzing supply chain data to identify bottlenecks or delays.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines.

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and follow‑up skills.
• Basic understanding of supply chain concepts (procurement, logistics, inventory).
• Strong MS Excel skills (basic formulas, reporting).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
• Time management and discipline in completing tasks on time.
