As a Trainee Surveillance Operator reporting directly to the Surveillance Duty Manager, this role offers an extraordinary opportunity to establish overall property control, safety & security whilst protecting the assets and maintaining gaming integrity. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for Surveillance.

A few of your responsibilities
  • Investigate and Report on activities that potentially pose a threat to the integrity of the operations and casino statutory obligations
  • Review CCTV footage to resolve all gaming inquiries and disputes from internal and external customers
  • Monitor alarm systems and coordinate an appropriate response via communications systems to relevant operational departments and emergency services
  • Maintain a high level of job knowledge relating to CCTV, gaming, security, alarm systems and other job related systems
  • Monitor and Report on all critical incidents across The Star complex
What we are looking for
  • Willing and available to start late January 2026
  • Availability to work a rotating roster (12hr shifts), including weekends & public holidays
  • Excellent keyboard typing proficiency & computer skills
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Casino gaming experience preferred but not essential
  • Attention to detail with good focus & concentration ability
