Trainee Welder, fabricator

We are a fabrication workshop based near Tewkesbury and are looking for a Trainee Welder / Fabricator / Labourer to join our team.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to learn a trade and gain experience in both workshop and site environments.

Duties will include:

• Assisting with general fabrication and welding tasks
• Learning to weld and work with sheet metal
• Cleaning and maintaining the workshop to a high standard
• Assisting with on-site work when required
• Deliveries and driving company vehicles
• Supporting experienced fabricators with day-to-day tasks

Requirements:

• Must be 21 or over (insurance requirement for driving company vehicles)
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• Ideally some experience using hand tools (e.g. drills, grinders)
• Must be able to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
• Confident, reliable, and willing to learn
• Able to work both in the workshop and on-site
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Smart, switched-on individual who can take initiative
• Ideally based locally to Tewkesbury
• carry out overtime when required
