Trainer

Overview

CBC is seeking an experienced Trainer to design and deliver dynamic training on Handling Protected Health Information (PHI) for the Social Care Network workforce. The Trainer will utilize and enhance existing CBC materials to create a modular, interactive training suite that builds understanding of privacy laws, member rights, and data-sharing responsibilities.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, compliance, education, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience designing and facilitating training for adult learners, ideally in health care or human services.
• Strong working knowledge of HIPAA, PHI handling, and cross-sector data-sharing practices.
• Proven ability to develop e-learning content and training toolkits.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Passion for advancing privacy, ethics, and trust in social care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive, modular trainings (in-person, virtual, and hybrid) using CBC’s existing materials.
• Update and refine training content to align with SCN privacy, HIPAA, and compliance standards.
• Convert materials into e-learning modules and develop a facilitator guide and Train-the-Trainer Certification Program.
• Design and conduct six live “Town Hall” sessions focused on PHI rights for members, encouraging engagement and dialogue.
• Evaluate learning outcomes and participant feedback to continually improve training quality.
• Collaborate with CBC and PHS partners to ensure content accessibility, consistency, and effectiveness.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
