About the Position
Reporting into the Corporate Training Manager, the site trainer is responsible for the indoctrination training of all new hires. He/she has oversight of the utilization of subject matter experts for indoctrination training when necessary. This role will be tasked to utilize their skills to be effective, efficient and productive training. The trainer will be expected to assist in creating an atmosphere of communication, collaboration and teamwork.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate conduct and document new and recurrent training.
· Conduct remote/virtual training.
· Update and maintain safety and training records.
· Track recurrent training in accordance with the company repair station training manuals.
· Track and publish site employee qualifications.
· Directly supervises all employees while they are receiving new hire orientation, customer required, and recurrent training.
· Coordinate with production, quality, and safety departments to ensure sites training requirements are being met.
· Assists with production, quality, and safety department’s policy enforcement.
· Coordinate with customers to ensure sites customer training requirements are being met.
· Assist in the design and implementation of IAC’s training program.
· Assists in the administration of testing and evaluation processes.
· Assist in identifying and assessing current and future training needs.
· Manage and report site training hours.
Position Requirements
· Travel up to 30% of the time in support of site training.
· Strong computer skills required.
· Strong interpersonal skills required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
Education and/or Experience:
· Minimum of five (5) years training with a large organization.
· High School Diploma or GED (required), Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Computer Skills: Experience with Utilization of Software Products and Systems: Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Project, Visio, Time Systems.
Physical Demands: The employee is required to work at a desk for long periods of time and stand in front of groups of employees.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an energetic, team-oriented office environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
