Position Overview

Brightcare Homecare is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR & Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily office operations, employee onboarding, and communication processes. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and able to adapt to dynamic business needs, including providing weekend on-call coverage on a rotating basis.

Key Responsibilities

During Office Hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 3 days per week):

  • Conduct interviews with potential candidates and assist in the hiring process.

  • Facilitate new hire orientation, training, and onboarding activities.

  • Maintain and organize employee records, including scanning and filing documentation.

  • Answer and troubleshoot incoming calls and provide support to internal staff and external partners.

  • Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs and improve workflow processes.

  • Support administrative projects and assist with general office duties as needed.

On-Call Rotation (Every Other Weekend, Saturday 8:00 AM – Monday 8:00 AM):

  • Respond promptly to phone calls requiring assistance or troubleshooting.

  • Coordinate coverage for open shifts and step in to work shifts that cannot be filled.

  • Communicate with staff and management to ensure smooth weekend operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

  • Previous experience in HR support, scheduling, or administrative roles strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or urgent situations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems.

Work Schedule & Compensation

  • In-office: 3 days per week, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

  • On-call: Every other weekend, from Saturday 8:00 AM through Monday 8:00 AM.

  • Competitive pay based on experience, plus potential on-call compensation.
