We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Training & Certification Coordinator to oversee and manage all employee training and certification activities within our construction operations. This role is essential to ensuring our workforce remains compliant with safety regulations, industry standards, and project-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction environments and a strong understanding of training logistics, credential tracking, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule mandatory and optional training programs for field and office personnel.
- Track employee certifications, licenses, and training completions using internal systems.
- Monitor expiration dates and proactively arrange renewals or recertifications
- Communicate training requirements to employees, supervisors, and project managers.
- Liaise with external training providers, unions, and certifying bodies to arrange courses and exams.
- Support onboarding by ensuring new hires meet initial training and certification requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records for audits and compliance reviews.
- Prepare reports on training status, gaps, and upcoming renewals for management.
- Assist in developing and updating training materials, manuals, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, local labor laws, and industry-specific safety standards.
- Coordinate logistics for on-site and off-site training sessions, including materials and attendance.
- Support internal safety and quality initiatives through training alignment.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in training coordination, HR, or compliance roles within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with OSHA, NCCER, MSHA, and other construction-related certifications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and training management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
