We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Training Manager to lead and scale internal employee training, external client training, and new hire onboarding within the payroll and HR industry. This role is responsible for ensuring employees and clients are confident, capable, and compliant users of our payroll and HR technology-particularly isolved.

The ideal candidate combines deep training and teaching experience with strong technical and systems expertise, and has a proven ability to build onboarding and training programs that scale as the organization grows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Internal TrainingEmployee Enablement

  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve internal training programs for client support, sales, implementation, and operational teams.
  • Ensure employees are proficient in payroll and HR processes, systems, and client-facing best practices.
  • Develop role-based learning paths that support career progression and operational efficiency.

ExternalClient Training

  • Own the execution for client-facing training, including implementation training, ongoing education, and system updates.
  • Create scalable client training solutions (live sessions, virtual training, on-demand resources, knowledge bases).
  • Ensure clients are guided appropriately on system use while maintaining compliance boundaries (education vs. advice).

New Hire Onboarding

  • Lead the design and management of a structured, technology-enabled new hire onboarding program for internal employees.
  • Partner with department leaders to ensure onboarding accelerates time-to-productivity.
  • Develop onboarding materials that train systems (including isolved), workflows, compliance concepts, and company standards.

Training StrategyScalability

  • Build a unified training strategy that supports internal teams, new hires, and external clients without duplicating effort.
  • Standardize training frameworks, delivery models, and content libraries to enable consistent and repeatable learning experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to replace manual or repetitive training with self-service and automated learning solutions.

TechnologySystems Enablement

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in isolved, including payroll, HR, benefits, timeattendance, and reporting.
  • Translate complex system functionality into clear, role-based, audience-appropriate training.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align training with system changes, new features, and process improvements.
  • Leverage LMS platforms, content authoring tools, and AI-enabled learning technologies to scale training delivery.

MeasurementContinuous Improvement

  • Define success metrics for onboarding and training (adoption, proficiency, efficiency, reduced support requests).
  • Collect feedback from internal teams and clients to refine and optimize training content.
  • Continuously evolve training programs in response to business growth and regulatory changes.

LeadershipCollaboration

  • Act as a trusted partner to leadership on training strategy, readiness, and change management.
  • Coach subject-matter experts and trainers to support consistent delivery across audiences.
  • Ensure all training aligns with company standards, compliance expectations, and client experience goals.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of isolved experience (required) – hands-on experience training, supporting, or administering iSolved payroll and HR modules.
  • Training / teaching experience (3-5 years required) – experience designing and delivering training in a professional or adult-learning environment.
  • Experience in the payroll and/or HR industry, including compliance-driven workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience managing internal training, external/client training, and onboarding programs.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and instructional design skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience owning or administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Background in instructional design, enablement, or learningdevelopment.
  • Experience training both employees and customers in a SaaS or technology-enabled environment.
  • Familiarity with automation, AI-enabled learning tools, or process optimization.
  • Project management or change management experience.
