As we continue to grow, we are building a new training center in Istanbul to support needs of our customers across EE & MEA. QuidelOrtho is looking to hire a new Training Specialist ( Trainer) for IVD Equipment based in Turkey - Istanbul in order to support those educational needs. The main responsibility is to facilitate and deliver technical training.

Your New Role:

The delivery of the courses will include:

• Face to face training in a classroom environment.
• Virtual remote training.
• Coaching and mentoring performed remotely or in the field.

The "Training Specialist" will instruct students for all business lines in device theory, troubleshooting, e-Connectivity, disassembly, adjustment, repair, maintenance, device installation, servicing techniques, and any other relevant activity related to communication as well as proper and compliant documentation.

What you will be doing:

• Deliver high quality technical training as requested to employees using instructor-led or virtual remote teaching methods. Train in a highly regulated environment on the operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair for devices of all business lines. Responsible for coordinating and managing classroom inventories and supplies to ensure the delivery of successful training programs, in a cost-effective manner. Will maximize training outcomes by providing coaching, mentoring and conducting follow-up and advanced training activities to enhance organizational effectiveness (60% time).
• Ensure training logistic readiness and administrative conformity, Maintain relevant related SOP's up to date, Preparation of training rooms, contacts with local suppliers involved in training logistics (hotels, transportation, catering), documentation of trainee feedbacks (15% of time).
• Maintain the training instruments located in the cluster (repair as needed, PMs, Mods installation), Maintain the training tools calibrated as per QuidelOrtho recommendation (10% of time).
• Support and follow up and on site when needed (red alert - first installation - in field certification). (10% of time).
• Deliver as needed training courses locally (5% of time).
• Role collaborates closely with our training center in EMEA.

The individual:

• Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex devices (IVD devices plus).
• Engineering degree or biomedical or electrical - electronics degree.
• Technical training experience required, ideally medical devices industry.
• Must be knowledgeable in delivering technical training programs and using a variety of education modalities including web-based, online.
• Experienced in transfer of knowledge.
• Comfortable managing logistics, ad hoc changes and high level of organizational excellence.
• Familiar with CRM and Microsoft office – Teams – Webex or similar videoconferencing system.
• Fluent English is a must and Turkish is a plus.
• Autonomous & well organized, Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• 30% international travels.

Part of the recruitment process is to design and deliver a presentation in English language.

The role is based in Istanbul, Turkey.
