Job Summary
A Training Support Specialist designs, develops, and delivers training programs to enhance our instructors and aides’ skills and organizational performance. They identify training needs, create learning materials, and facilitate training sessions to support employee growth and company success. Key responsibilities include assessing training needs, developing curricula, delivering training, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. This role also requires substituting and supporting the facilitation of the JMA program in various districts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate semi-annual Instructor/Aide training in coordination with the Program Managers and Operations Director
- Train mid-semester hires
- Ensure onboarding training of new employees, in conjunction with HR
- Coach instructors and aides as requested by Program Managers in classroom management, teaching techniques, presentation skills and other necessary training areas
- Provide feedback on the evaluations and coaching of the instructors and aides to ensue quality program delivery with instructors and aides.
- Collect, analyze and share evaluations from district partners and Program Managers
- Assist and support Curriculum Specialist in curriculum development and research
- Organize and lead debriefing sessions at the end of each session for all school districts
- Substitute/Facilitate JMA Program, as requested
- Report to Operations Director.
- All other duties assigned
Qualifications
- A.A./A.S. Degree preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word)
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to evaluate and improve training programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Teaching and classroom management experienced preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
