Elliott Davis is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Senior Associate who will work closely with our onshore and offshore team members to provide financial due diligence of middle-market US clients. The Transaction Advisory Services Line provides buy side due diligence, sell-side due diligence, and working capital assistance. We are growing and this is an exciting opportunity to join our practice!


What you’ll Do:


  • Collaborate and remotely work with Elliott Davis consulting professionals, supervisors, and senior management in the U.S. on a daily basis, including early morning and late evening conference calls.
  • Prioritize and analyze large volumes of data, build Excel workbooks and schedules, and provide valuable guidance to the U.S. based engagement teams.
  • Prepare and update document request lists and management meeting agendas.
  • Participate in management meetings with the Target Company and discussions with the Client.
  • Evaluate financial and operational trends of Target companies, in addition to challenging target assumptions.
  • Prepare and assist with Quality of Earnings adjustments and analysis, net working capital analysis, and indebtedness analysis. Also, assist with diligence findings and written reports.
  • Clearly communicate findings and insights both verbally and in written reports.
  • Ability to collaborate and work within teams to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.


What You’ll Need:


  • A minimum of three experience with transaction services performing financial diligence.
  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s in accounting or finance degree from an accredited college/university
  • Having Chartered Accountant/ CPA license is an added advantage.
  • Big 4, National or large regional firm experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Experience with tools such as Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, Alteryx or other data analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, including operational and financial analysis, benchmarking, and trend analysis.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, curious, and ability to identify issues and problem solve
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task), meet deadlines, and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to deliver superior client service and working closely with US based teams.


Working Environment:


While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is expected to work in our office. Flexibility is granted to employees to work remotely on an as-needed basis.


Expected Billable Hours of Work:


Regular expected billable hours shall be up to 40 hours per week. However, you may be required to work additional hours and/or days as and when necessary to properly and effectively perform your duties and responsibilities.
