Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Transcriber to convert audio and video recordings into written documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening skills, strong grammar and spelling, and the ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Listen to audio/video recordings and accurately transcribe them into written text

• Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, clarity, and context

• Ensure all transcripts follow the required format and style guidelines

• Identify and label different speakers in the audio when necessary

• Flag and report any unclear or inaudible content

• Maintain confidentiality of all materials

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Languages/Translation

• Proven experience as a transcriber or in a similar role

• Excellent command of the English (and/or Arabic, if needed) language

• Fast typing speed with high accuracy (recommended: 60+ WPM)

• Strong attention to detail and active listening skills

• Familiarity with transcription software (e.g., Otter, Descript, Express Scribe) is a plus

• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in journalism, linguistics, or communication
