TRANSFER CENTER DISPATCHER (IN-PERSON)
Salary Range: $19.10
Department: Communications
Location: EMS Communications Center
Reports to: Communications Supervisors
Position Summary
The Transfer Center Dispatcher plays a critical role within the Communications Department by coordinating patient transfer services. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to efficiently manage transfer requests, evaluate medical necessity and billing requirements, and coordinate appropriate patient transport services. The dispatcher ensures all requests are handled professionally, promptly, and in accordance with organizational policies and contractual guidelines.
