Transfer Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking ONE motivated and dependable Transfer Truck Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting sand & gravel between facilities, material yards, and other designated locations. Your expertise in driving a manual transmission trucks is a MUST. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Transfer Truck.
• Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Follow designated routes and schedules accurately.
• Secure cargo properly using your skill to properly inspect equipment BEFORE entering roadways after loading & unloading.
• Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, and delivery documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate pickups and deliveries promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving the sand & gravel industry.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is a MUST. All of our truck are 18 Speed Manual.
• Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent route planning skills with a focus on efficiency and timeliness.
• Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform vehicle inspections regularly.
