Transmission Engineer

Industry: Solar Energy / Renewable Energy

Experience: 3–5 years in transmission line design & execution (preferably in solar ground-mounted projects)

Role Summary:

The Transmission Line Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the execution of transmission lines for solar ground-mounted power projects. The role requires coordination with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of transmission infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and layout of transmission lines from solar plant to grid substation

- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and drawings for transmission line work

- Conduct route surveys, tower spotting, and clearance calculations

- Coordinate with state utilities/discoms for approvals and grid connectivity

- Work closely with EPC and construction teams for on-site implementation

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and statutory requirements

- Supervise installation, stringing, and testing activities

- Prepare project documentation and reports

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Civil Engineering

- Proven experience in transmission line design & execution (33kV, 66kV, or above)

- Familiarity with PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and MS Office

- Knowledge of relevant codes (IS, IEC, CEA regulations)

- Strong analytical and communication skills

- Willingness to travel to project sites

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,454.14 - ₹53,776.32 per month
