Job Title: Logistics Coordinator – Driver Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator (Driver Coordinator) is responsible for organizing and supervising the daily movements of company drivers assigned to cleaning teams. The role ensures that all cleaners are transported on time to their job sites, vehicles are properly utilized, and logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Driver & Crew Scheduling
· Prepare daily and weekly driver duty schedules.
· Assign drivers to routes, tasks, and service requests based on availability and workload.
· Ensure drivers report on time and follow dispatch instructions.
· Arrange replacements when drivers are absent or on leave.
2. Dispatching & Route Planning
- Plan optimized routes for drivers to ensure cleaners reach locations on time.
- Coordinate multiple job-site movements throughout the day.
- Optimize routes to reduce travel time and fuel consumption.
· Coordinate with operations teams for urgent or last-minute requests.
3. Operations Coordination
· Track driver movements and progress through GPS or monitoring systems.
· Ensure proper communication between drivers, team leaders, supervisors and the scheduler
· Maintain communication with drivers to resolve delays, emergencies, or issues.
- Respond to delays, traffic issues, or route changes and provide alternative solutions.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timelines.
- Coordination with the drivers for the pick-up time of the operations to avoid delays and ensure all staff reach the accommodation safely.
- Adjust pick-up timings in case of extended work hours or operational changes.
4. Vehicle & Documentation Management
- Maintain daily vehicle allocation records.
- Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs, servicing, registration, and insurance renewals.
- Ensure drivers follow company policies and UAE road safety rules.
5. Attendance & Reporting
- Track driver attendance, duty hours, and trip logs.
- Maintain daily movement sheets for cleaners and vehicles.
- Submit daily/weekly logistics reports to the Operations Manager.
6. Performance & Compliance
- Monitor driver behavior, punctuality, and adherence to dispatch schedules.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or operational concerns.
- Support supervisors in managing disciplinary matters related to drivers.
- Work closely with cleaning supervisors to confirm manpower requirements.
- Ensure cleaners are transported on time for Deep Cleaning, Regular Cleaning, Check-in/Check-out Cleaning, etc.
- Arrange additional drivers or vehicles if required for big projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics or driver coordination (preferably in a cleaning or facilities management company).
- Strong knowledge of UAE roads, areas, and traffic regulations.
- Good organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and scheduling tool – ERP Platform.
- Ability to handle emergencies and sudden operational changes.

- Ability to coordinate with multinational crew teams.
