Job Title: Transport In-Charge

Location: Coimbatore Shift: Day / General Shift Department: Transport / Logistics Reporting To: Admin Manager / Operations Manager Job Summary Transport In-Charge responsible for managing company vehicles, drivers, route planning, timely pickup & delivery, vehicle maintenance, and transport-related documentation to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities Manage company vehicles (car / van ) Allocate vehicles & drivers as per daily requirement Plan routes to ensure on-time pickup & delivery Monitor driver attendance, duty hours & discipline Maintain trip sheets, log books & diesel records Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs & insurance Ensure compliance with RTO & safety regulations Control fuel expenses & reduce transport cost Handle transport-related complaints & emergencies Coordinate with production / dispatch / admin teams

Qualification & Experience Minimum: 12th / Any Degree Experience: 2–5 years in transport / logistics preferred Knowledge of local routes mandatory Basic computer knowledge (Excel, records)

Skills Required Good communication & coordination skills Driver & fleet management Time management & problem solving Basic maintenance knowledge Ability to handle pressure & emergencies

Vehicle Knowledge (Preferred) Light & heavy vehicles Diesel monitoring Preventive maintenance Salary ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 (Based on experience) Documents Required Resume ID proof Experience certificate (if available)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
