Transport Nurse (RN)

Position Summary:

This position will respond to emergent and non-emergent calls for ambulance transport.
Administer evidence-based, quality basic and advanced clinical care per level of certification and in adherence to company policies and protocols.
You will work a 24-hour shift.

• Assess each call situation to determine best course of action and the most appropriate patient treatment protocol
• Perform patient assessment, obtain a pertinent medical report from the referral staff, determine the need for stabilization in collabrotative manner.
• Use medical supplies, medications, equipment, and procedures including defibrillators, EKG monitors, infusion pumps, etc.

Qualifications:

• Possess an RN License- Maryland or DC
• Possess current AHA, HCP-BLS Certification
• Willingness to obtain ACLS and PALS certifications
• Critical Care nurse experience

Pay/Benefits:

• Hourly range: $44/hr.- $47/hr.
