The Transport Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily transport operations, ensuring efficient vehicle deployment, managing drivers, coordinating schedules, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. The role ensures timely service delivery to clients while optimizing fleet performance and controlling operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

A. Operations & Fleet Management

  • Supervise daily transport activities and ensure smooth execution of all scheduled trips.
  • Allocate vehicles and drivers based on client requirements and operational needs.
  • Monitor fleet movement, trip sheets, fuel consumption, and route planning.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with RTA regulations, permits, and company policies.
  • Coordinate replacement vehicles in case of breakdowns or emergencies.
  • Maintain proper records of vehicle logbooks, inspections, and maintenance schedules.

B. Driver Supervision & Coordination

  • Manage, monitor, and discipline drivers according to company rules.
  • Conduct daily briefings with drivers related to trips, safety, and customer service.
  • Track driver attendance, duty hours, overtime, and performance.
  • Handle disputes, complaints, and misconduct issues involving drivers.

C. Maintenance & Safety

  • Coordinate with workshop team for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure timely servicing of all vehicles according to manufacturer schedules.
  • Conduct random vehicle inspections to check cleanliness and safety conditions.
  • Report accidents immediately and handle insurance, police, and RTA procedures.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

D. Client Coordination

  • Communicate with clients for trip scheduling, daily operations, complaints, and feedback.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and immediate response to operational issues.
  • Resolve client concerns professionally and escalate major issues to management.

E. Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports related to fleet usage, fuel summary, attendance, and vehicle condition.
  • Maintain updated records of permits, registration renewals, insurance, and fines.
  • Monitor cost control for fuel, maintenance, and driver overtime.

3. Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in transport operations or fleet management in UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and RTA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills: MS Excel, MS Word, Trip sheet management software.
  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred for transport field).

  • 9 hours per day including break
  • Monday to Saturday (Sunday off)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
